What is Restorative body work?

Restorative body work combines nurturing Swedish massage, deep tissue techniques, Lomi Lomi, and energy work, creating a more integrative full-body experience. Each session is fully customizable; you can choose what you’d like to include or exclude. However, I encourage my clients to embrace the new or different elements of the session.

This approach addresses both physical knots and trigger points as well as energetic ones. If you’re not into energy work or Lomi Lomi, that’s totally fine—this session is all about you and your body. Restorative body work can be vulnerable and is often more intimate than a text book deep tissue massage, as I tend to the person as a whole: emotional, physical, and energetic.

It’s completely normal for stuck emotions to surface during this process, and I provide a safe space for you to do so. But don't worry; I won’t just pet you or wave my hands over you. You’ll also receive deep steady pressure and a good elbow where its needed, and that’s the beauty of this unique session.

Heres the truth most (not all) massage therapist are greatly disconnected from their body and your body. They are moving through the motions, and exhausted. When you come into my space I give you my all, my full devoted energy and presence. Why does this matter exactly? Because it gives you the space to fully let go, soften, and open. You’ll feel the difference during and after the session.

Okay, but what’s Lomi Lomi?

Lomi Lomi is a traditional Hawaiian massage that emphasizes long, flowing strokes, deep tissue work, and gentle stretching. It is designed to promote relaxation, relieve tension, and create a sense of harmony within the body. The massage often incorporates the use of oil and is delivered with a focus on nurturing and connection, making it both soothing and rejuvenating.
